Kirtan and Sacred Music:
Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda’s music is a glimmering reflection of what is possible in the realms of transcendental love. They sing and play music that initiates deep healing and opens the heart to divine joy, sharing the grace they have been given through their partnership. Alternating guitar, harmonium, bass, tabla and vocal weaving, they create a magic together that sets the stage for the Devas and Devis to dance upon. Offering a combination of kirtan (call and response singing) mantra repetition, bhajan and original songs, they mix English, Sanskrit and Gurumukhi as a bridge for all those who have been mysteriously called to Yoga and teachings from India.

Jaya Lakshmi with Ananda Kirtronica (Yoga Trance Dance)
‘Kirtronica’ is a term for a new genre of music that is currently being established in the yoga world which is electronic dance music combined with live Sanskrit/Indian chanting and singing over it. Jaya Lakshmi was one of the pioneers of ‘Kirtronica’ with her previous band “Lost at Last”, founded in Maui, Hawaii in 1997. Over the last few years Jaya Lakshmi has composed original electronic music using Ableton Live. Similar to the the Lost at Last sound, her new music is a mixture of house and tribal trance beats, with (recordings of) acoustic instruments like tabla, guitar, flute, and sarod. In the current duo format, Jaya Lakshmi sings live while Ananda runs Ableton Live. They lead the audience through an ecstatic dance journey that awakens their shakti, inspiring devotional trance states and deepening their connection with the divine.

Partner Yoga Workshop
This workshop offers a unique sequence of partner-based Yoga postures. It is designed to enrich and enhance the loving energy flow within you and your partner. Partner Yoga is a unique physical and spiritual practice, which combines techniques and exercises from yoga and massage. It helps in feeling a more soulful sense of partnership and romance.
The workshop is formulated for intimate partners but is not exclusive to those who want to learn more and explore the realms of Partner Yoga. It will also include some Thai massage/yoga poses. Enjoy a healthy, playful, and life-affirming practice that you can take home and share together.
Bhakti Yoga Workshop
In this workshop participants will explore the essence of Bhakti Yoga-the Path of Love and Devotion-as felt by Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda. Singing together, we will connect with sacred songs and mantras in Sanskrit (the ancient prayer language of India), Gurmukhi (Sikh written language), and English. Participants will learn translations, meanings about various deities, and also be lead in guided visualizations for deepening their Bhakti practice. Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda also share their own insights into the healing effects of these sacred chants.

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Workshop for Heart Centered Living
This workshop will be a unique blend of Kundalini yoga and meditations with live music by Ananda and Jaya Lakshmi. It is designed to open the heart and tap into one’s infinite creative potential. Through this workshop participants will gain tools to live an inspired and fulfilled life that overflows with bliss and abundance.
Kundalini Yoga uses movement, sound current, breath and meditation to relax and heal your mind and body, allowing the spirit to flow freely. This powerful and effective form of Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D., Master of Kundalini Yoga, is a way to recharge and heal your body quickly. By stimulating the various systems of the body, it centers the mind, balances one’s energy fields and opens the spirit. It is especially effective for stress, addiction, depression and insomnia, as well as weight control.
Cacao Ceremony with Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda
Since ancient times cacao has been used ceremonially to connect with that infinite presence of love. Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda’s Cacao ceremonies are a coming together to open the heart, express creatively and rejoice with the spirit of the cacao. Accompanied by their weaving heart songs, it will be a time to express gratitude for the cacao spirit and allow for that spirit to blossom infinite possibilities within you.
The Cacao that will be used is a very special type that a cacao shaman selected personally for it’s energetic qualities. It comes from Guatemala, the heartland of the Mayan people who have used it for millennia. The ceremony will be a wonderful time to learn about cacao’s origins, history, heath benefits and energetic/spiritual qualities. Let’s celebrate a new way of coming together and rejoicing in the love of the infinite spirit. Melt into a unique ceremony that will expand your heart to new levels.
